Brett first entered the industry as a carpenter where he completed a traditional City & Guilds apprenticeship. With 4 years’ experience on site working on bespoke projects Brett was then headhunted and soon found himself promoted working as a site manager.

With a wealth of experience from a practical background and production, he soon realized that the commercial path was more suited to his skillset and personality becoming a well-rounded, flexible Quantity Surveyor. Brett is currently studying to become a member of RICS and leads our talent academy training scheme that was brought in to develop our apprentices and trainees.

Elliott began his career as a Civil and Structural CAD Technician, a role he held for eight years. During this time, he gained extensive experience producing detailed technical drawings and plans for a variety of civil engineering and structural projects. He worked closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity in design documentation, developing a strong foundation in construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

Building on this technical background, he transitioned into the role of Construction Estimator. His hands-on understanding of drawings and specifications gave him a distinct advantage in interpreting project scopes, assessing costs, and preparing competitive, accurate tenders. This progression allowed him to combine technical precision with commercial insight, enabling him to contribute to project planning and delivery from both a design and cost management perspective.

Working closely with my clients is crucial in understanding their requirements, ambitions and project lifecycle.

Luke first entered the industry as an electrician where he undertook a traditional City & Guilds apprenticeship. With 6 years’ experience on site working on high end projects, he was then promoted to lead technician overseeing multiple bespoke projects. With a vast knowledge of running and managing complex construction projects, Luke soon had the opportunity and was offered a promotion, moving into an estimator’s position within a leading south coast consultancy.

With high ambitions and aspirations, this was an easy decision for him, now overseeing the estimators managing all packages from substructure to final finishes.

Frankie has chosen the commercial pathway and is currently studying towards his level 1 & 2 in Construction Quantity Surveying Technician at Solent University.

On completion Frankie has set a personal goal to undertake HNC within Quantity Surveying expanding on his commercial knowledge.

Frankie has recently completed his final exams and has now started with Peters Cost Consultants on a full-time basis.
